St Jean de Luz is a quaint village in France – on the wild Atlantic Ocean, just above the Spanish border. C’est notre residence!
The unique charm of this village – the intimate lanes, stone walls, architecture – even the soft singsong of the language ~ has completely captured my heart! Often I find myself moved beyond words and before I know it, a paintbrush is in my hand, and I am savouring the shades and shadows on my canvas.
I’ve been seeking ‘home’ for a long time. Who would have thought I would find it in a canvas and paintbrush, in a country on the other side of the world!
My favourite mediums are watercolour and acrylic.
