Gigi Hoeller was born and raised in West Vancouver, British Columbia. After extensive travels and ten years on Vancouver Island, she has finally settled in Halfmoon Bay, on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Here she has her own gallery “The Gigi Hoeller Gallery” where she lives with her partner and a small pack of large dogs.
The creative energy of the Sunshine Coast fills and feeds Gigi, and she is able to paint on a regular basis. Her paintings are done almost entirely with her fingers and her subject matter range from bright and colourful florals, macro Totems and coastal landscapes.
Gigi has painted postage stamps for the Marshall Islands, donated several pieces to worthy causes and has artwork throughout the lower mainland. Commissions are also an enjoyable part of her work.
