I  am an abstract mixed media painter inspired by the beauty of nature. My paintings embark on a journey into the heart of nature as we observe the world in relationship to ourselves, our spirit, our life, our breath. From the flowers that come to life after a long cold winter, birds singing at dawn and the waiting for life to move on, stay the same and hurry up and change there is a thread that ties us to the invisible world as we move between this dance of opposing forces. 

I also teach workshops, inspiring others to create artwork from a space of childlike wonder as I believe the simple act of creativity unleashes a part of ourselves that would otherwise be buried under the daily grind. The world needs more connection, and art is a way to bridge the gap into our emotional selves, connecting us together this united struggle of what it is to be human.

My creative studio is in Gibsons BC and when I’m not there you can find me walking the beach and nature trails watching the birds, bears, coyotes and other critters with my dog, as these quiet times of reflection help feed my creativity, spirit and soul, connecting with the solitude of life.

Featured guest on the national TV show, An Artist in The House in 2022, a winner of the Sunshine Coast Writers Society people’s choice award in 2024, and artwork featured in the book “Not an Island” 2024 /25.
